This is my first 1 star review… and honestly, I went back and forth quite a lot about posting it here, on my blog. I’ve always been hesitant to post low-rated reviews just because I know how much work goes into writing a book. But in the end, I felt like there were genuinely questionable aspects of this story that deserved to be critiqued, so that’s what I’m here to do.
I’ll start by saying I really did want to like this book. But a lot about this story just rubbed me the wrong way.
