To celebrate this oh-so-special-day I wanted to share with you all my favorite chocolate cupcake recipe! I by no means claim rights to this recipe, because it’s one of those ones that’s been in my family for so long I couldn’t tell you where it’s from. 🤷🏻♀️ We always called it a “wacky cake” recipe, but I know it’s also referred to as a “Depression cake” – because it’s eggs- and dairy-free!
This is the exact cake my mother used to make for me growing up, so it’s got a special place in my heart. 💗 And, while I may be biased, I think it makes pretty great cupcakes. 🧁
